To me, I would bet just about anything Clemson scores first, or at the very least on their first drive. Coach Swinney's teams characteristically have a score-first plan and mentality, but I just can't imagine they don't have something worked up to go no-huddle against UGA to open the game.
To be down 17 points would be a sincere surprise to me. But if it's in the 4th quarter, absolutely I'll be worried---I want the Tigers to win!
I do believe the Tigers are elite this year & elite teams can overcome a 3-score deficit in the final 15 minutes. Ahead 17 to start the 4th is definitely not right where I would want the Bulldogs, though.
I'd rather crush them early and often.

I wouldn't be worried, although I'd much prefer that we blow their doors off by the third quarter, or early fourth quarter at the latest.

Of course I would be worried. In my opinion, such a situation would indicate two things. First, our offensive line is not sufficiently improved and is struggling against what should be an excellent UGa front seven. And second, our defense is not able to shut down the UGa run game.
I personally think this will be a game of a few big plays and not much else, offensively. I think 24 points will be enough to win and would not be surprised if one team doesn’t break double digits. These are 2 excellent teams and offenses early in the season can be inconsistent. I do not envy either OC in this one.

I agree with you.
Frequently it takes our O-line several games to get their split-second timing down, since we use a lot of traps and pulling TEs. Remember getting stuffed on 4th down against Furman and SC St in season openers? I won't be surprised if we have a lot of difficulty running on GA's front 7.
I just want them to keep DJ upright and unhurt.
I won't be totally surprised if we get down 17 in the 4th that Dabo pulls DJ for Helms or whoever is #2 on the depth chart. Dabo won't risk losing the entire season in the season opener.

Clemson fan 100%. If our O-line has not improved from last year. Dawgs will pull away in the fourth quarter. It will be like the Ohio St game a few months ago.
