No offense to Tajh ...but I would say Woody...the Chad would have him passing more efficiently and he would turn those first downs that Tajh gets into touchdowns or chunk plays...remember...he ran richrods offense when he was here with no where near the receiving corps we have now and the o line was considerably weaker then than it is now...C.J. would be lights out in this offense but Woody was an absolute magician with the ball in his hands..

Maybe spiller for the sheer excitement, but I go with a Bostic b/c that is our need on the O.
Now don't get me started on the D.

Just 3 or 4 years ago we had a really good D. I was saying our D could play with anybody, we just couldn't score consistently.
The offense is the best I have ever seen at Clemson, no need to change a thing. If we just had a couple on D from a couple years ago, this season would look much more promising.

our offense is BA as is. but if were going O I'd say o-line, bostic bros.
I'd rather bring back a defensive player.
Maybe Anthony Simmons, Perry Bros, Brian Dawkins, Tye Hill, etc.

Mix this with Chad's offense and games would be very exciting. I know "we have what we have" but I would love to see these same guys get excited before and after plays. Especially big plays! It happens in small spurts for our team now but I want to see if throughout games!
This will get the crowd into games more, which turns around and helps the defense even more.

Hal Davis - #44 - 1962-1963
Oct 12, 2012, 3:17 PM
|
|
Hal Davis and Ellis Dantzler were the halfback tandem. I'll never forget Hal turning the corner near the south stands, and breaking into the secondary at about the 30 yard line heading toward the west endzone. The only thing between him and the endzone was a safety. Hal wasn't afraid of anybody, so instead of trying to get cute, he put his head down and took the safety head-on. The collision was so violent that both players bounced backward. Hal recovered first and ran right by the defender. He was one tough hombre and we could use some of that style today.
