My rule is no alcohol before noon. The exception is noon Clemson games. Even then, the pre-noon drink MUST be a bloody mary. No exceptions.

an alcoholic.
Mostly for show, but it's a good rule. Morning drinking is not my thing, except if I'm tailgating before a noon Clemson game. Other exception is Christmas morning, wife makes mimosas, but way I see it, Christmas morning is more of a continuation of "some assembly required" than the start of a new day.

Who am I really fooling? I'm old. Nothing I change at this point is probably going to matter a whole lot in the overall scheme of things. I like to drink; I have no one to impress. I'll drink when the mood hits me.
Like right now seems like a perfect time today.

I try not to start drinking before 9am or so for night games. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
