Why are some people so angry with Derion Kendrick?

The dude got kicked of the team. He didn't transfer. Did you expect him to quit playing football?

They are still salty that he didn't pan out. He had incredible ball skills and should have been a phenomenal slot receiver and returner for us. I still don't understand why he couldn't translate his playmaking ability from HS to college. Looking back it was most likely attitude but I wasn't there to confirm this. If you doubt how electric he was for South Pointe just go back and look at his tape as a HS QB.
Secondly, I am not salty about him being gone at all. As we all saw in last years playoff, he was a liability in deep coverage because he is not a natural or experienced corner. He was a QB that we turned into a slot receiver and then DB for what they said was a numbers issue. He was serviceable in ACC play but his dismissal paved the way for Super Mario to lock down the side opposite Booth and give us two All Conference corners that are both going to make Clemson University look great on Sundays.
If you are still wasting your time being mad about DK then you are missing out on what we have because of it. Goodrich would not have had the opportunity to be the player of the game in the Cheez-It bowl if he had to sit behind DK who is still not a natural CB and is getting by on raw athletic ability. It will catch up to him. I just wish his attitude had allowed him to be what we had seen on his HS tape.

Why do you care about other people's emotions? They have every right to feel how they feel and you have every right to ignore them instead of making things your business which are clearly none of your business.

I hope Derion gets his life in order and is a success. It seems that the only way Dabo could get that point across was to dismiss him.

All reports coming out of UGA are that is his one of the hardest workers on the team and has had been absolutely excellent off the field.
It's sad seeing all these boomers have such a grudge about someone younger than their own children for making a mistake.

Maybe when DK was kicked off the Tigers team, the light came on and he decided to get his act together and not mess his football future up. Just maybe, he grew up some after that. Hope he has his life together now.

By all reports he has more than gotten his life together and is a leader on and off the field.
Why is it so hard to accept a kid can grow up and learn from past mistkaes.

but it shows alot about UGA when they take a kid that has the type of charges he had. Clemson put Kendrick and Kaleb Chalmers out and UGA and SoCar pick them up. "It just means more".

It's almost like kids make mistakes and they can learn from them given the right chance.

Lol. No he didn’t. He switched because he knew he wasn’t getting much playing time at wideout and knew his only chance at playing in the NFL was to switch positions. Was it a team need at the time, yes, but he doesn’t switch if he’s got a future in the league as a WR.
Unfortunately for DK his technique will not translate to the NFL as he will get called for penalties over and over. When he’s not grabbing and pushing, he doesn’t get his head around to find the ball. It’s why he always gets dusted by good WRs, and the NFL is nothing but good WRs.

Maybe he will make enough money and it won't matter. I think he will make it in the league though. Maybe he will be good and maybe he will be a backup. He will stick though.

Hopefully he gets drafted / signs with a team that will teach good technique. I think he is still very raw and will end up as an NFL starter.
Didn’t say for how long, but I think he will make a starting lineup.

He quit playing football while he played for Clemson. That's my problem with him. No effort and totally intentional IMO.
