Is their number 1 target. Gruden's wife is from the area and they have property near Knoxville so it seems. I guess like Bill Cowher owns land on Hartwell. 
Anyhow they are convinced Dooley is done this week.

Our favorite ex-DC, Steele.
The 1987 UT football staff was pretty solid. Gruden as a student asst, Walt Harris, Kevin Steele, Phil Fulmer, David Cutcliffe on the coaching staff.
I'd say ol' Johnny Majors did OK legacy-wise.

With the Cleveland Browns new ownership change to James Haslem III and family (HUGE UT Supporters) it has been rumored here since August when the sale was occuring, that Chuckie will be the new head coach to replace Pat Shurmer at the end of this season.
No chance that Chuckie goes to UT.

I don't think Dooley should be fired yet. He has 5 losses this season and all 5 of those losses are to top 17 teams, 3 on the road. Carolina has played 3 top 17 teams and lost 2. Clemson has played 1 and lost it. He just drew a terrible schedule this year and might win out from here on since e has no more ranked teams to play.
