Daughter is in need of an old beater to stay on her job . She's full time at CU so her money is short , but she has saved 1500 and asked if I would look around .

OK TigerDug--- I sent you an email re a contact. Know you would prefer a Rolls-Royce but I haven't seen any sitting in the used car lots in this area.

She wants a hatchback if she can get one , but beyond that " reliable " is the only concern .

our son found a 13 yr old Toyota Avalon cheap, about 110k miles, no damage but a few dings and faded paint. 2 years later, runs like a champ and all the bells and whistles still work. When he changes the oil after 3k miles it looks clean. Good luck.

Nope . It's lesson learning time . I had her in a car for college and she totalled it in November .
This ine is all on her ( except the insurance .) Lol

I helped my daughter with a car in college (very used) but told her I would not dare ruin her experience of buying a new car for herself. She did in 2015 ....... All cash. Plus she paid off every penny of student loans after her graduate degree in two years after graduating.
