When was the last time you remember seeing one of our pro athletes donate a chunk of change like that back to their alma mater? The last one i can think of was Charlie Whitehurst 5 or 6 years ago.

While his donation is generous... he can afford to donate such a large sum based on his new contract with the Rams.
His donation is actually less than 1% of his new contract. He can earn a maximum of $57.75 million over the next five years.
