Chip on the shoulder

Sep 5, 2021, 4:11 PM

I’m guessing that chip we’ve had on our shoulder since the Ohio State debacle didn’t quite have the effect that we thought it might. I think we can spread the blame around to all involved on the offensive side. I’ve talked to plenty that say it’s not the coaches. I’ve heard the coaches say it’s not all on the o-line. It’s on all of them. Quit acting like it’s ok and get it fixed. That’s all I’m asking

Only thing that will fix this is new blood.

New players on the oline and new coaches-offensive coordinator and oline coach.

Re: O-line Coach.....Elliot Gets A Pass On This ---

O-line was just lacking in combination with DJU not executing. I don't fault Elliott because plays to be made was there......DJU just didn't and at times couldn't get the ball out. We should have won that game 27-10 or 20-10.....if the offense had executed.

I do fault Elliott and Dabo for not getting these guys on the same page....more in sync with the flow of how the plays were supposed to be ran...and not adjusting to take advantage of what was obviously and definitely there to make plays and yards to possibly score. ((example= Could have put Ngata on Ringo))

In closing.....the game has definitely caught up to Caldwell. His coaching is not up to par when having to face these powerhouse top 8 units of today. We will cycle out a little faster if we keep this up. It's tough as it is to get the recruits we really need on the O-line and still try to compete with the Crying Days and Nicki Satan's.
