Guessing up the Ashley River between Middleton Place and Magnolia Plantation . . . Could be on the Stono River . . . at least you’re NOT in the Goosecreek Reservoir!!!
Enjoy your time in the Low Coubtry!!!

Looks to me like you were fishing in someone's front yard gold fish pond.

I have been down for some time. I hope to get back up soon. My motor is going north. Lost all my rods and reels and electronics which were in my house as a ssholes steal off boats.
Stripers run up the Tugaloo to me when the water warms (end of March, early April). I hope to have some fishing fun by then.
Being out on the lake away from everything is what most don't grasp. Catching is the goal, but not the real goal.

Man I miss the lake. I dont have to catch a thing. And often dont. But it never matters, because there's just nothing better than being on the water.

Is the building behind you a clue- I have no clue- how long until you determine that nobody knows?

That’s a quiet part of the river. Up hwy 41 to cainhoy road. That is not strawberry chapel I don’t think but it looks familiar. That area kind of reminds me of the boat chase in James Bond movie live and let die. lol. You could have been near Mepkin Abby home of Henry Laurens. Google him. He probably is the most influential person in the colonies that no one knows.

Plenty of gators there but not as many as there were since they opened gator season. Where did you put in? Bushey Park or at bridge in Durham Creek? Did you run up French Quarter also?

I was not only off by a few miles, I was off by few counties.
What's your favorite lake/body of water to fish in SC?
