While I agree the officiating was slightly one-sided....

especially in the second half (typical Carl Hess game when Clemson is playing), Clemson had the ball with under a minute to go and a chance to take the lead with only seconds remaining. Clemson takes its final time out only to draw-up one of the worst offensive possessions of the entire game.

Booker was supposed to have a pick and roll with Hall but looked to have missed up and forced Hall to the corner. This left Hall in no man's land and the rest of the guys standing around confused. McDaniel's went to help and was forced to take the shot

It was a complete change of the way they called their fouls in the second half. It is impossible to adjust when you make such a radical change in the way you call a foul.

We were in control of the tempo and the game and suddenly Jennings and Booker are in foul trouble and FSU is at the FT line every other play and to their credit they hit them. It took us completely out of our game becuase they were calling every little touch a foul. Hard to get into a groove when a foul is called on you every 2 seconds

within at least 3 seconds to put them right back on the line. When you have watched as many ACC games as I have, 40 plus years worth, you could see it coming in the first two minutes of the second half. Although not quite as bad, it reminded me of the loss at UNC three or four years ago, when we blew a 22 or 23 point second half lead.....with a ton of help from the refs. Just like tonight, the other team could not score, so they put them on the line every possession.

But I've played it since I was 5. I know what it's like when the refs are going to screw you over and just how much it affects you as a player mentally. you second guess everything you do on defense because you're afraid of getting a foul called on you.

always telling me not to let the refs get to me during a game. And you can, up to a point. But, when you are wearing a team out, when they cannot score, and you are running off from them, and BAM......foul,foul,foul,foul,foul,foul,foul....in 4 minutes. And, as a fan, I cannot see us playing any different than we did in the first 20 minutes...

foul. 16:09 left in the second half FSU gets called for their first team foul. Booker and Jennings on the bench, true freshman having to play substantial minutes on the road, FSU shooting free throws 3/4 of the 2nd half. I didn't notice a drastic change in our style of play. I doubt Brownell came out at halftime and said, "hey, let's try a little hack-a-shaq". That's why it's always the refs.

A couple of times they did foul, but 3 or 4 of those calls were bogus. I remember thinking, "Isn't FSU doing the same exact thing"? It's just the ACC screwing Clemson over once again.....
