Garbage.
UGA has beat 3 nobody's and NotreDame @ home by two field goals.
Unranked Ole Miss put 30+ up on Alabama last week.
OSU has officially kicked the crap out of FAU, Cincinnati, Indiana, Miami(OH) and Nebraska (all are terrible).
LSU has no idea what defense is either. Vandy and Texas BOTH put almost 40 pts on the board against them.
At this point, the rankings are solely regarding how badly a D1, P5 team kicks the **** out of lesser opponents.

Why even report on some cbs ranking. Tom fornelli and their writers are a joke. Lets remember their poll ranked bama #1 even aftet Clemson beat them for Natty in 2016.
If cbs still allowed comments you would see 99% of the comments about it being a ######## misleading article. Just let their poll go the way of the dodo bird and stop acknowledging it

Every season about 5 games in, the Tigers have a bad game and all the talking heads write them off. Then the Tigers dominate in the playoff and they all act surprised. It happens every year.

the home of Lugubrious, constant upset alerts, and high SEC praise. Always. They don't want to see Clemson Bama 5 so they're hoping to sway the committee into pulling Clemson down to the 3 or 4 spot if there are 4 "undefeated's" at the beginning of the playoff rankings.

CBS's broadcasts SEC ganes, so it is to their benefit for the SEC teams to be ranked higher, this is much like the mainstream media giving out fake poll numbers to push their candidates & they want, it's all about the Benjamins

You beat me to it...had Clemson been playing on CBS next week...not happening. Lets see, pretty or not who else has 4 power five wins? Not many. This game is the catalyst, not saying we wont have any other nail biters but 15 and oh...means 30 in a row and back to back. Not out of the realm of possibilities. Go Tigers

Falls under the category of who cares!!!
We needed to win all of our games to be in regardless. That is still the case. Unless allot of crazy stuff happens) which could considering the SEC will cancel each other out and there could be 2 loss teams floated around all over the place.
My final 4 prediction right now for the final playoff selection would be Clemson, OU, OSU, and one of these SEC teams. I have no clue who as I think they are all capable of beating each other.
I am fine with this ranking as this offense has not performed to it capabilities. YET!
