He’ll simply say good teams lose to bad teams all the time in basketball and that it means nothing in the big picture. If you point out that Brownell loses a disproportionate amount of games to low-RPI teams and that those losses have generally excluded us from the postseason he will create a straw man argument or put you on ignore.

We have greatness in us, we have a windshield mentality, and these players really love each other.
Dabo platitudes aside, I don’t have any excuses. It’s a game I feel that we could’ve won, and one I expected to win. These games are tough early on, especially in this era when there is more roster turnover.
This game had some good and some bad for us. I thought we had good looks late that we just didn’t convert. PJ missed two open threes in the last few minutes. Tyson missed one too. I thought Galloway rushed his late three.
The environment in the arena really got to us for much of the game. Great job by their fans to show up and be loud. It’s too bad Clemson fans can’t create that kind of environment for us at home.

Take a jab at Dabo, downplay brownells failures, and continue to belittle our fan base.
We packed the John and were loud as hell when OP was here, but you know that…what changed that lead to a decline in attendance? You know but you won’t admit it.

Colonial was barely 2/3 full last night, if that much even. There was absolutely nothing special about that crowd's size or noise.
"It's too bad Clemson fans can't create that kind of environment for us at home" is BS. Granted, it used to be better even, but Brownell has driven many off over the past 12 years with his inconsistent performances.

Unlike the capacity Clemson / Virginia game, which JK felt the need to lie about, the camera panned the arena more than once and the upper level was maybe half full. It was not an impressive crowd. Announced attendance - which JK is happy to tell us includes no-show season ticket holders when insulting Clemson - was only 13,380 or 74%.
