Doesn't he have his own "Twitter" now?

I would think he would not want to come back to what would be his competition.
I would not be against Twitter lifting their ban on him. I suppose he's done his time. I would not follow him, so it'd be no skin off my nose.

those other social media sites to death with a stick.
He posted over 56,000 tweets on Twitter before he was banned. He's posted a dozen or so times on Truth Social.
Do you really think Trump can resist the attention he craves so badly?

posting on Twitter like that, and not on his site, that his site would be shuttered. Maybe that's what happens.

Or he could use Twitter to drive traffic to Truth Social.

However, with only a couple of million downloads, his Twitter following was much much larger. His supporters now love Elon Musk and his purchase of Twitter, if that tells you anything.

Re:After wading thru the lefties false bravado, a smart post

You made the post to save this thread with a smart observation. All that false bravado from lefties who are worried about DJT being restored to his (historically) best communications platform ... good move to direct the discussion elsewhere.
It could be an interesting chess match if Trump were to use his restored Twitter status to 'advertise' for Truth Social.
Now that Musk has gone public about 'removing the Twitter ban' for DJT, and citing this as a moral imperative, then how long would Musk tolerate allowing Trump to 'advertise' for a competitor to Twitter?
Trump, at worst, wins in this endeavor to a small degree.
If this happens, Musk losses are larger (and inversely proportionately) to Trump's win.
But the faster that Musk removes DJT's Twitter status (after DJT starts 'advertising' on Twitter), then the 'losses' for Musk and the 'gains' for Trump are both minimized.

Trump does indeed play chess, but does it very well.
Instead of worrying about 'looking smart' while playing (which is an attribute among those with genuine self-confidence), he plays the game without that psychological distraction. That makes him a better chess player than his (typical) opponent.
One example (gotta get back to work, can't let the McNuggets burn again):
NATO and getting them to pay up:
Trump went big on the push to get NATO's EU members to pay up. They hadn't paid under Obama, and had been winning that game against the USA. Trump went in hard and loud after the derelict big EU economic powers Italy and Germany, and also putting some fear into the little economy cheapskates such as Lithuania, Latvia, Slovak Republic, Romania, Hungary, and a few others, to put up or shut up.
These EU countries were scared that Trump might actually do it. They blasted DJT as being irresponsible, etc. But at the end of the day, they all increased their payments into NATO to get a lot closer to the 2% of GDP target.
Trump didn't reveal his chess moves prematurely, nor did he execute this move too late.
NATO's funding for the Ukrainian resistance against Russia was kick-started by Trump's push.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: Of course, Russia's actual invasion of UKR really drove the point home, but the increase in weapons and defense needed to start BEFORE Russia invaded; Trump's chess move helped out everyone in hindsight.
You're welcome ... and now the McNuggets are burning, so really got's to go.

His site is nothing but an investment scam for which foreign nationals can pour endless amounts of money - legally - into Trump's own private, personal piggy banks.
He won't shutter it, I just don't think he cares much about it. It's doing exactly what he needs it to do, which is collect payola for him.
He'll keep it open, I just think it largely stays a ghost site.

Oh Pocahontas is on the case. You’ve changed my mind. Did you ever think they want anonymous funding because anyone that invests is going to get doxxed, and canceled by your extremist friends? Liberals have ruined pretty much everything.

What exactly did liberals "ruin"?
I'm unclear what Golden Age you're wistfully pining for. Are we talking the one at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, when millions of Americans basically slaved in sweat shops while the Robber Barons lived like kings, until organized labor finally broke their company stores and iron grip on the country? I can see you liking that one.
Or are you talking that largely artificial Leave It To Beaver 1950's-era postwar boom that largely happened because we had a boatload of factory capacity thanks to our gearing up for WW2, while the rest of the world had bombed itself into the Stone Age and as such became hugely dependent on American goods?
So what exactly was ruined by liberals and not by, well, market correction?

Because there are no "libs" for them to "own" or antagonize. They have to have confrontation to thrive. Same thing that drives a Miura or an NC_Tiger.
