possible now with all the changes in recent years with ticket distributions, reduced Hill seating, piped in music that seems to have a muting effect on the crowd, and people who can't stop looking at their phones?

I honestly don’t think it will ever get back to that level again. It’s viewed more as a social gathering now and everyone is too worried about taking a video of the action or posting pics on the ‘gram.

The obsession with noise and the Hill is just off based. The noise and fans on the Hill will be there Saturday because the game is huge. If you take last year as an example, we outscored our opponents 299-164 at home so by half time, many fans were in the parking lot or on the way home. The size of the game determines the size of the crowd and the noise level.
