Has to be a **** record. Seems like we hardly try to get a 1st down on 1st or 2nd. It’s like we are always shooting for 3rd and short.

two years ago as we seemed to have a lot of them. With TL, ETN and etc., we did get a lot of 1st downs still. But I will tell you, this 3rd and long situation is not new, we just don't have the talent to overcome it as much as we did in the past.

I recall having a lot as well and we would Etienne would miraculously run for a first on third down Tony Elliott has to be one of the worst first down play callers in the country

Maybe we should sh#t-can those sliw-developing WR screens that always seem to lose 2 yards on 1st down.

Does it really matter if it's 3rd and 9 or 3rd and 4 ;a bubble screen is as good as a long thrown ball down the center of the field. Take your pick ,no blocking or a dropped pass.
