Just a little Friday update to cover anything we may have missed in the week.
-3 visitors that I mentioned in my last update were Caleb Downs, Tony Mitchell, and Avieon Terrell. I broke their visit dates for the first time in that post. Downs and Mitchell are camping on June 4th, while Terrell will be at Clemson June 1st. Those are three of the top DBs in the next class. Downs has expressed that he grew up a Clemson fan, as did Mitchell, but Downs does have a brother that plays at UNC and his uncle coaches there, so they will be tough.
-Right after that post some more big news came from another CB in the class of 23'. AJ Harris, the #2 overall corner in the class, will begin his camp dates with a stop at Clemson on June 4th as well. I can not express how big of a deal it is to get Harris, Downs, and Mitchell together on the same day as the three are pretty close. He will then be at UGA, OSU, Bama, ND, U of SC, and VaTech later. This has all the makings of a UGA, Clemson, OSU, and Bama battle.
-A HUGE name for this class at safety has locked in an official visit to Clemson on November 12-14. That is when elite safety Zion Branch will make his way out to Clemson. I have long thought that Clemson is running third here behind USC and OSU, in that order. However, this could a situation where Dabo's visit policy helps Clemson, Branch has officials to OSU and USC in the Summer, and that means that Clemson gets the last crack at him in the Fall. Bama is also getting a look in the Fall as well.
-5* CB target Jeayn Lukus out of Mauldin has locked in two visits for the Summer. The first to UNC on the first weekend in June, and the second to Clemson for the Elite Retreat. After those visits I would say that Lukus would know where he wants to go. I still think that Clemson is in a good position going into visits.
-Clemson offered a new CB for this cycle in Caleb Coley. He is ranked lower at the moment, but he is probably going to be a guy that rises up the rankings this Summer. He is planning to come to Clemson June 8-9.
-I found it interesting that another class of 22" quarterback has set a date to camp with Clemson. Ohio QB Judah Holtzclaw, who stands 6'6, will be camping at Clemson on June 3rd. He will also be camping at UGA later in the month. I do not know if this would be a PWO situation but it certainly shows that Clemson is checking all options.
-A new name to know at QB for the class of 23" is Eli Holstein out of La. He will be camping at Clemson on June 5th.
-Another new name for the class of 23" LB Tackett Curtis. He will be at Clemson June 11th.
-Class of 22" WR Jayden Gibson plans to camp at Clemson sometime this June in hopes of securing an offer.
-A big time DE for the class of 23" has set a date to visit Clemson. Vic Burley will be camping at Clemson on June 11th. He projects to be a potential 5* in the next class, so big news. Watch UGA,

multiple thumb downs? Unbefuckinlievable. His recruiting posts are literally about the only thing worth reading on the Football board a lot of days. Is he being punished for actually posting something informative and on topic?

They are jealous. They're upset that he's good and won't give up his sources.
Why can't they be satisfied and just enjoy as we do? Personally, I am grateful. Love recruiting news.

Clemson Paw - like others - love your Recruiting articles and always look forward to reading them. I have a question about a recruit that may seem a bit out of left field.
I saw a while back an article about Oscar Delp where he laid a dirty hit on an opponent during the game. In the comments in that article or other follow up pieces - some folks shared that he has a reputation as a player that was questionable/dirty.
I believe in hard nosed football - everything within the rules. My question is - is there some truth to this or is this just one unfortunate play or a lot of hot air? Can you comment on this?

I know of at least one other incident than the one that you are referring too, so I would not say that this is a one off. However, I do not want to make a claim on Delp's character as I have never spoken to him and I do not know him personally. Whether his uncle playing at Clemson and being roommates with Streeter, has caused a blind spot towards Delp from the staff I do not know. I can say that our staff recruits more on character than any other staff out there. There are multiple high quality athletes that had interest in Clemson, that Clemson felt would not be a mesh with the culture. I guess I am trying to say that the staff has earned my trust as far as recruiting high character guys, so I would trust their judgement here.
