What a performance. This man is the MVP of this team hands down. The team goes as he goes. At the plate and on the mound. Find me a time when the team has ever had consistent success while he has struggled. When he’s hot we’re hot, when he’s not we’re not. He defines MVP
He’s also hitting .313. His ACC average is even higher. Last year he struck out every other at bat. This year he’s struck out 51 times in 150 at bats. That’s 1/3 at bats. Tremendous improvement. He also leads the team in RBI’s

I would maybe expect national player of the week award. He didn’t do everything himself, but in game 1 he had a HR and doubles. And we saw what he just did on the mound.

To have a no hit bid through 6, and making the impact he made rest of weekend, it wouldn’t surprise me.
