But unlike DW4, hopefully he doesn’t throw as many INTs as he gets special massages.
That bad joke out of the way, Cade is a gunslinger, as stated in a recently published article here on Tigernet.
He’s going to make a ton of plays. He’s going to throw INTs. Probably a 40 Tds, 10 INTs kind of guy. Hopefully by junior year he can do 40/6. We shall see.

We have no idea yet what Cade will do because there is not enough to go on. He certainly looked very good Saturday and hopefully he will continue that way but keep in mind no QB completes 80% of his passes on a consistent basis.

So you would be upset with a QB that throws 40 TDs and 10 INTs?! I wouldn’t. That would be an awesome season, which further illustrates your point about the two year drought at QB, and lack of playmaking.
Perhaps, like all of us, we have forgotten what it looks like to watch a QB throw 40 touchdowns. A 4 TD to 1 INT ratio puts you in the NFL, much like Trevor Lawrence or Deshaun.
And yeah, admittedly, my joke sucked which I pointed out. Glad you agreed sir.

First, every quarterback throws interceptions, especially when they're young. College athletes move much faster than high school ones, and it takes time, often more than a year, of consistent practice for the game to slow down. Cade basically wasted a year here, as he didn't even get to practice with and against our first string (as he said Saturday night). We don't have a lot of depth at defensive back any more, so I'd expect him to throw some picks for that reason. QB's with a lot of talent also take chances more, because they expect their ball to arrive.
But Cade is not, and has never, been considered a "gunslinger" by experts (I could not care less what Hood says). He has a strong arm, but he's always preferred accuracy and mid range throws rather than slinging it all over the field. No one compared him to someone like Favre or Rodgers. DJ was the pocket passer. Cade was considered more in line with Zach Wilson (33 TDs to 3 interceptions) or at his best, Drew Brees. In his high school career, he had 86 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.
So I feel like your post is entirely baseless.
