I’m sick of seeing our offense play with the passing game completely limited due to our QB, which is no fault of his own and all the fault of the coaches. Can we please do SOMETHING different and try the other 5-star QB who hasn’t had the opportunity to start a game. He’s at least a faster decision maker and can run better. I just want some hope?

went 2 for 4 and would have included an interception in that if it wasn't for a dropped pass by a Cuse defender.

How do you know that Cade is even the #2 guy? There is another, much more experienced, 5-star QB on our roster. Why do you say Cade over Hunter?
Here's my point -- you haven't been to practice, you don't know the 'gap' in talent, and if Dabo (a 2x winning National Championship head coach) thinks that DJ is the best QB to get us to a win, then I'd say that his assessment is much more reliable than yours'.
If your frustration is in DJ, then what you're really going after is the coaches' ability to identify talent or develop talent. That doesn't change with a "let's try something else" mentality.

Back in the day 70s. Clemson had 2 QB. One sucked at practice and one sucked on gameday. They finally realized that the one that sucked at practice sure knew how to win ball games. Practice just give parts of you questions. IT DOESN'T TAKE A FREAKING ROCKET SCIENTIST TO FIGURE OUT THAT DJ IS NOT A QB. So of Streeter thinks he ran his ### off, put him at rb. Gees

I think your comment is kind of proving a lot of peoples point. Cade is 100% the number 2 guy I mean that’s obvious in the times that they have brought cade in , pretty sure hunter has played one drive this year. So the fact that a true freshman is good enough to be the definite number 2 over a previous 5* guy that’s played 5 years of college football should tell you he’s got some talent… there’s absolutely no argument that can be made as to why cade had not gotten an opportunity to actually get a couple drives and run this offense not worrying about if he throws an int or incompletion that he’s getting sent back to the bench. He’s made some awesome throws but even in the Miami game (a perfect chance to let him get some reps) he runs option read and hands it off every time. I’m just saying the argument is just a big for him not getting a fair shot as it is for ppl that say “you aren’t at practice so dj must be a lot better” … I don’t buy that until the kid plays with the same talent dj has at his disposal. I mean and if you wanna talk about hunter I would have loved to see him come in for a drive yesterday, I bet he could hit a rb on a swing and not throw it a foot above his head , he’s not a heisman qb but I bet he can make the east throws since our down field passing game is completely non existent anyways what would it matter

Because Dabo and Streeter are starting DJ out of loyalty, not because he’s better. You would think it’s because DJ is better, but the fact that they wanted him to be the hero yesterday over running the ball with Shipley proves it. Also, could’ve had Cade run the option with him and we would’ve won

Agree that is is up to the coaches to look at the talent. Maybe it isn't translating from practice to game day.
But DJ struggled Saturday. Even if you attribute it to receiver drops, then stop throwing them the ball. Put in the better running quarterback and give that a shot. Continually banging your head against a brick wall won't gain anything, so try another option.

Needs to get the H3ll out of Clemson. Cade has been disrespected by the Clemson coaches. In backing up DJ, his skill sets have been demeaned by many ignorant so-called Clemson fans and naysayers. Some Tnetters believe Vizzina will compete with Cade in 2023 for p.t. That won't happen.
Vizzina has been good but has not had success in the same hemisphere as Klubnik. Klubnik went undefeated and won two Texas 6-A championships. He won his way into Elite 11 QB championship vs. thousands of h.s. QB's and ended up rated #1 in Elite 11 finals winning more events than any other QB. Vizzina opened up with a 48-0 loss, won two, and now has lost 6 his last 7 games. Vizzina performed well but not at the top of Elite 11. He can backup but would not compete vs. top rated QB in country. IMHO Cade has been highly disrespected at Clemson and should leave in late December. Cannot speak for his plans, but wish him the best.

While I do want Clemson to win all games I know this is not possible. However, we sure do not need to keep a QB in the game with the results that DJ provided against USC. My goodness. Every person in the stadium knew he can not pass the ball accurately. Dang give the backup QB a chance. If not given chances to play Cade should leave for another team who will play him rather than a QB who is ineffective.
