I really like Cade. I also think he’s a very good QB. The question is… can he win the big game? He has come a long way since the UGA game but I want to see him win the big one and he has not done that yet. He’s got a chance on Saturday. Does he come through? What you think??

I'd say this game definitely has some BIG implications for the CFP and our fanbase but marginalizing the ACC championship simply because a team had a bad defense is lame affff.

If our bar for “the big one” is UNC, Notre Dame, or Kentucky, God help this program. Yikes. He needs to take a step against SCAR, but that’s not exactly “the big one” either imho.

I honestly think this is his biggest so far. In state rival that beat us at home last time, playoff bid on the line, and laid an egg against Louisville at home. He really needs to shine in this game. I’d venture to say everyone on here would believe that deShawn or Trevor wouldn’t lose this game.

I predict DJ would’ve done almost as good. But you can never say probably for DJ. Nor can you take credit from the QB who dominated the game.
Mack Brown’s defenses have been atrocious at UNC, statistically.

Well you don't have to predict it, because we saw it. The entire reason Cade played at all was because DJ didn't do as good. His first possession he couldn't hit a wide open mafah in the flat and threw it in the ground. Saying "he would have done as well" is crazy. He didn't do that good in any game in his career, minus the one head scratching ND 420 harder as a freshman.

He was awesome in that game, imagine how good he’d be now if he had played sooner… not doubting Dabo but DJ was hard to watch no matter his record.

Most likely he'll be the reason we win, but couldn't he also be the reason we lose (interceptions, fumbles, etc.)? Tough to pin a win or loss on solely one person or "thing" (O-line, D-backs, running game, etc.)
