I feel the same as CUdad. Until the folks that can get into the vault will open it up and throw out enough money that will show serious interest in our BB program, or it will remain in a deep hole. They can't say one day that we are going to build a new arena, and the next day say well we are just going to rebuild LJ from the inside up, and multiple days after say well, we are going to trim more money from the inside up renovation. They are actually saying now, fk basketball, and Brownell will have to make do with all we're willing to do. If I was Brownell, I would catch the next train out and let the next coach lose also, and let the fans that really want BB to succeed, grip and talk sh!t about someone else that won't have a chance like everyone else that has tried to build a BB program at a school where the vault keeper says no way, not here at Clemson....

I have heard every excuse. Point is the team plays poorly and we were only good enough to make the post season when we had NBA quality players (Booker / KJ). CBB will make a good run next year as finally pieces are coming together. Granted we cannot continue to transfer out half the team.

Both, he would have a better year than this about every third year and then be worse than this year. Nice guy, could recruit and coach the bigs, no consistency and terrible ACC record. However we did have to play Duke and UNC 2 times each every year.
