After enjoying a beautiful Sunday afternoon, chicken halves are on the grill and butter beans and rice are on the stove. Currently listening to a little music and having a cold beer.

Yum! Yum!!

What are your plans for tonight?

Go Tigers!!!!

went to the Italian Festival here in town. Visited all of the culinary classes for the 3 local high schools and the Latin Club from SHS. Brought home some lovely lasagna, some pasta fagioli, a variety pack of biscotti and a lemon raspberry custard. So, a good little Italian feast while supporting my local schools and students. It was a good day.

Fresh Pork Belly cooked to perfection by my daughter with fresh locally grown corn on the Cobb, and fresh greens with fresh locally sourced tomatoes.

Bought all of this from Country Meats on Hwy 221 in Woodruff, SC.

Later this week I am going to cook some fresh Frog Legs, Rabbit and Alligator tail and Ostrich for my wild game night.

All of this curtesy of my Son. Check him out at intelligentdesignpro.com
I am very proud of him and the hard work he has invested into his business.

Like my Son’s business Country Meats is a family owned business. It’s an amazing store. They have just about any kind of meat and a lot of different seafoods including fresh Oysters you could want. It reminds me of the old Cash & Carry that use to be in Downtown Greenville, SC.

I try to support small Mom and Pop businesses as much as possible. It helps our State as well local farmers, fishermen and provides for local people throughout the region.
