but he’s about as interesting as dry toast. Nothing I have ever heard of his requires a re-listen and Lawd help the repeat ad nauseam tracks on radio. Riding around, having a good day, all the sudden weeoh whuh Whuh of Wonderful Tonight’s opening bars earrapes you. And no one likes being raped with dry toast.

I'm not sure of any other songs he does I like. I could say pretty much the same for U2 and Bono.
More interesting is how some average, meh bands and singers can somehow achieve "superstar" status 30+ years after their last halfway decent song, while others fade away. Older I get the more convinced I am, THE MORE YOU TOUR AND THE MORE AND LONGER YOU DO CONCERTS, the more famous you become. Even if you are purely an average singer/band. Just tour, then tour more, and then more, and more, and your fame will surpass your music and singing ability.

son. Had a guy from NJ as a Freshman roommate who thought he was the world's only musical talent.
By Christmastime I thoroughly hated Springsteen. And that's never changed.
