This is a true statement. He is suffering from the 'Peter Principle' and taking us along for the ride.

I looked up basketball recruits for 2023/24 and never see Clemson mentioned for 4/5 stars. CBB got super lucky with PJ. Question is can he build around him? I think not.

Some coaches have ceilings. He’s hit his, it’s time to move on. It wasn’t a bad hire. He just couldn’t make it work at this level.

We need an administration who will define the goal of our basket ball program.
Mine is top 25 every year and if not that then at least be one of 66 teams who make the tourney. Is that such an unrealistic expectation?
And btw CBB has proven he cannot do this.

That is very lofty expectations of bball. Now, I agree, that's exactly what we should aim for. I would have a little lower. Tournament 7 out of 10 years and within the tournament win 2 or 3 games in 4 of those trips. So roughly 50% of the time we finished ranked. Not to say we couldn't pop in and out during the other years. Rarely should we not participate in any tournament.

I just want to see us make progress to where you can see an upward trend. Like FB this year, things happen and you miss. But putting guys in the pros. Landing and competing for 4 and 5 star talent.

Sure he is, he has done all he can do. I can't see a retention after this year. We will be soundly under .500 We will not have any post season . . . . it has to happen.
