7 years and nothing to show for it.
He should have been "Lane Kiffened",
Fired on the Tarmac.

Do you feel that Clemson has supported basketball well?

Have we provided Brownell with what he needs to be successful? Such as:
-Budget for assistant coach salaries, recruiting trips, etc. -Facilities for practices, games, meeting rooms, etc. -Support staff for recruiting, video analysis, etc.
Do you know how much Clemson spends on basketball compared to other schools in the ACC?
Given your answers to the above, is it reasonable to expect Brownell to have won more games than he has?

He had the same facilities as Purnell, better facilities than Barnes. Same resources as those coaches for assistant coaches.

Don't worry. Brownell will be back next year despite the complaints of the fans. Drad is going to decide the direction of the basketball program. Does he add a year or two to help Brownell in recruiting? Brownell will be hamstrung if he has only three years on his contract. At least drop the buyout to a level where it's easier to get rid of Brownell. Next year it will be a young team. If this team finishes break even or less, what does Drad do? The pressure will be even stronger to get rid him more so than now. Drad needs to tell Brad that he better win big next year or he's gone.

I want to see who he gets committed for the class after this incoming one. That would tell me a lot.

that does not bode well for recruiting next season when you can't tell incoming freshmen you'll be here when they are seniors

I'm sure DRad will give him an extension in that scenario.

He wouldn't keep him, then hamstring him in recruiting.

Even Brownell supporters agreed to that at the end of last year. Now suddenly it's still not enough time for him

Only posters on a TigerNet made that condition ... no one

No one with any hiring/ firing authority ever said such a thing.
It may have been an unspoken condition, but it was ever made public.
