As much of a head case as DJ can be, it would not surprise me to see them use the "pinky excuse" to justify starting QB2. I'm sure they could be thinking that facing his old team might just be more than he can handle, especially if things started to work against him. They may also feel like our familiarity with him puts them at a disadvantage.

If he somehow gets a redshirt for that, the next school for him will deserve everything they get or lack there of when signing him. I wouldn't be surprised if Big Dave is looking into that as we speak. That is about the only way he is going to continue to make money in the game of football.

He was afraid DJ might jet like he did when Dabo finally benched him. Coaches shouldn’t be afraid to bench any player because they might leave.
For most of us, we got much better when we were disciplined for bad play. Being humbled either makes you quit or fight back to be the best. We need more discipline in all areas of life these days. No more man babies!
