and possibly even HC. He and Dabo had philosophical issues, and Dabo interfered with the playcalling, leaving us with no offensive identity.

He rode CJ his first year and was pretty awful in his second year with Jamie Harper and Ellington. Two NFL RB's
Was given the reigns a little too early.

It's pretty commonly known that Napier prefers an I-formation power attack, while Dabo likes the spread.
Look back at tapes of 2010 games and tell me it didn't look like we were trying to do both at the same time.

So because he likes the I-Form makes him a good coach?

Not necessarily, but he's didn't exactly get a fair shot to install his system. He was a solid position coach and is an awesome recruiter. Might not be able to say for sure he'll be a great OC, but you definitely can't say he's a bad one just because he had one bad season in which he had one good (true freshman) receiver and only partial control of the system.

someone here warned us about this guy and his reporting the other day. I forget who but they claimed to know him personally.
Given that I am taking anything he says with a "grade of slaw"

I know him personally and I take everything he says with a grain of salt (and not just sports related topics).

Billy Napier's famous play, weak side toss. About like Rob Spence's go to play call, the bubble screen

since when did any coot have journalistic integrity? his favorite thing to talk about is the "dime pieces" he supposedly picks up with ease every weekend. judging from his headshot, i assume most of these occur in the world of warcraft, or outright in his imagination.
