Love and respect the guy! No one deserves it more than him. I would do what’s best for me and my family also. It’s nothing personal it’s all business. It seems people forget who hired him…. Don’t doubt Dabo, the guy is a genius. He knew this day would come and I guarantee you he will do what’s best for the Clemson football program moving forward. Excited to see the new hires, I personally think it will be awesome, it may take time but we will have some winners running the show again. Ready for 2022!

I totally agree with your statement. I thank Brent for his service to Clemson. He has definitely earned his opportunity to be a head coach. Like the saying goes “ we all can be replaced “ but some are harder than others . It will be hard to replace coach Venables but I have faith that Dabo will get the best man for the job. Next man up ! Go Tigers.

I agree 100%. BV is 52 years old and took the opportunity for financial security for his family. No reasonable person should disagree with that. Most good ACs desire to be HCs, but few get the opportunity at a top school with great resources. It's usually at a smaller school or a place that fired a losing coach.

I'm certainly not happy that BV is gone from Clemson but thankful for the great 10 years he made our defense one of the best. He deserves his HC opportunity and will be fondly remembered by Tiger fans.

All coaches know Clemson's reputation and its generous salaries for assistants, and I expect that Dabo is already flooded with DC applications. The right replacement is out there and likely included on Dabo's short list.

I agree with all of this and we all know Dabo has a backup plan. (except for QB this year SMH)
