Yes he is. I’ve been listening to/watching Braves games for at least 40 years. There have been some great and some not so great announcers along the way. Chip Caray is a little to0 “rah rah” for me. Last year was better when he had Frenchy and Glavine with him. Sometimes I turn the sound down and say “Alexa, 680 The Fan” and listen in to Ben Ingram and Joe Simpson. The audio doesn’t always sync with the video but you can follow the game just fine.

That right there sums up my opinions perfectly. Chip has terrible Mr Announcer Man syndrome with his pregnant pauses and drawn out words to try and delay to see what the results of the pitch/hit/play are. I can’t figure out why he doesn’t realize he can just talk normally and improve 100%. Ruins many games and moments. Byrd is good and Glavine was awesome last few years with great insight. No announcing crew can ever replicate what Skip, Pete and Ernie had going through the ‘70s and ‘80s pulling double duty on TV and radio.

I seemed to recall hearing/reading they were doing Braves/Clemson co-branded stadium seats this year.
