Boyd's legacy as the greatest Clemson QB...then Shaw...

...There is just simply too much irony in thinking that Tajh completes his career at Clemson having never beaten the dirtpeckers, allowing them to finally achieve 5 in a row for the first time in history.
I would think that for Tajh and his teammates, this game against the chickens must be tantamount to the Battle of the Bulge. Even if a victory against the chickens is Pyrrhic, it is a price that must be paid.
There will be time to recovery for the bowl game, but nothing can be left on the field.
For all that Shaw has proven for the Coots, for his legacy to have been that he NEVER lost to Clemson, will be something that will live FOREVER in Coot football lore.
I hope that this Clemson team can see what is at stake in this last game against a rival that does NOT deserve the right to hold a 5th straight victory over the Tigers.
There needs to be some Coots carted off that field in 2 weeks.

I think we have put too much pressure on ourselves the last few years. Go out there and play.

You can't convince me otherwise. I don't care if one was 4-0 against the coots and the other finishes 1-3 or even 0-4.

Mention George Rogers or Herschel Walker

and the first thing any tiger always says is "never scored on Clemson" which is 100% factual.
If Tajh loses to scar and goes 0-4 he will still be the best QB you've ever had and he will be winless against my coots. Both are facts and 10, 38 and 34 are all great players.

Don't worry, he's gonna wipe out all of those 4 years in 1 night. The scoreboard won't be pretty.

Agree with the theme of your post, but Tajh will either be 0-3 or 1-2 vs South Carolina. Not 0-4 or 1-3. His freshman year Parker started and played over 1/2 the game...by the time Boyd entered in the 3rd Q it was 26-7.

Boyd will either be 1-2 or 0-3. Parker played over 1/2 the game in 2010, and it was 26-7 by the time Boyd entered the game.
Proceed being a ######.
