I didn't realize that the payout for Holiday Bowl > Gator Bowl. Thoughts on how we match up against Oregon State - would be an interesting matchup which I'm sure the media would love to promote.

It really does not matter how much it pays since we split revenue from all bowl with other ACC members. And we have lost money on pretty much every bowl we have ever been to.

I thought each schools' expenses get covered then the rest goes into the common pool to be split? The TV and gate revenues are bigger I suppose overall. Many bowls are not worth the money to go. But Espn and corporate sponsors fill tv slots and ads? Coaches point to bowls as an achievement too.
