Correct.
Yes we have a lot of returning players that should be better this year than last.
Most of those players lost 2 of the last three games they played and it took a 56 yard field goal to get that 1 win. Many of those hyping our Tigers must not remember the Georgia game, or the Louisville game or the SC game nor how close we came to losing the Pitt and SMU games.
I wish all the rat poison type would disappear. I wish more of our fans were a tad more realistic in their expectations for 2025.
I am a tiger fan. I will be there for most of the games. I hope our team plays a lot better than they did last year. Another natty this year? I dunno. I doubt it. And I think the hype makes our success less rather than more likely.
Go Tigers

It's been all off-season. No, not buying we're number one. We have some dudes but I'm not sold on TEs, RBs or even cade at this point.

Been hearing a lot about going empty sets and running a high octane kind of deal. Talk of LSU 2019 has been discussed around the water cooler. QB check. OL check. WRs check. TEs check (may have a freak with Bettencourt (sp?)). And then if RB1 emerges and has the ability to create rushing yards aaand catch the ball?? Swing him out and flood the field downfield with a potentially elite WR group…
Ooo wee we could be very potent ..
if Cade takes that next step.
Let’s go!!

they haven’t been able to for a long time. And this has been in the ACC.
If we have some semblance of a running game, Cade will have a field day.

Yes. The kind you squeeze out of a tube. Do NOT take. Put your head down and turn off social media and go to work. Sleep. And do not get hurt. With that and a little of luck and Grace we will be in the final 2, in my opinion. Otherwise similar to last year but maybe 1 win in playoffs. Go KICK rears!

I think we have the potential to be a deadly offense. But only if everyone takes that next step including Garrett Riley. We have to be able to score against someone with a pulse and that’s not just on the players. A lot of this hype is because of the 2nd half of that Texas game. But I really believe if the team blocks out all the noise our Tigers have a chance to once again be elite!

either power formation or play action. At least 3 huge times I remember we fumbled the exchange bc qb couldn't make a decision. Too much split second thinking required and if you don't have the right personnel to pull it off then don't call it anymore.

Got embarrassed by Illinois, after getting a gift from Clemson .
Is this the basis for thinking USuC will compete for a national title?

Gonna be alot of disappointment folks on this sight after our first game I fear. Cade will get happy feet against a good SEC Dline, Garrett Riley will get a small lead early and try to coast like he always does, scared to take shots and just hand the ball off. Our charmin soft defense will let LSU gash them in the second half. Worried it’s going to be Georgia opener pt 2. Hopefully they prove me wrong. Fact is this team is just a shell of what it was 6-7 years ago. I’d hate to see how bad the 2018 team would beat the 2025 team. They’re all soft and have no fight in them. Been that way for a few years now.

We are solid across the board
That's all it means
College football is all about creating mismatches and capitalizing on them.
That's the responsibility of the coaches.
Is Riley a good scout of opposing defenses ? Is there empirical evidence that says yes ?
If so , that's a start. In the absence of Evidentiary proof he can come through I'll roll the dice and say he's done his homework for this game.
He's had a ton of time to put together a solid game plan. It's unif it were a mid-season game.
Now , can the players execute said plan ?
I'm in the ballpark with the optimist. We have some absolute studs on the field now.
Wesco and Moore alone on the field together creates one such mismatch I alluded to earlier. There are many.
Creative ways to get Randall the ball in the flat is another. A LB can't cover AR. Forget about it.
The improvement of the Oline , not just since Luke's arrival , but even from the improvement we saw last year to now this year will be noticeable. This will be a physical and fast unit that will hold one another accountable.
The difference in Cade from 2 years ago to last year were quantifiable.
Have you paid attention to reports of the work this guy is putting in ? If you have you would think he's Nick Saban's offspring ( IFKYK ).
I think he improves substantially and is on the edge of becoming great.
But he can't rest and must continue working.
Are you aware of the work he and his wideouts are putting in off-season ?
That's the key to an explosive offense. One that gels and recognizes the tendencies to create an unspoken behavior between each other when say , a play breaks down and still manage a positive gain. Not to mention each individual is different and they each learn how. For instance , who can best highpoint the ball ? Who can best make an over the shoulder catch ? Who has warp speed to just separate from any defender and go get the ball ( Sammy Watkins ) ?
Now for RB. I'll keep it short but I think some are going to find out we have a clear #1 RB.
Just an opinion. Don't come at me guns blazing because I'm tiring of shooting folks down frankly and likely won't respond.
Some of you spend entirely too much time being contrarion simply to be contrarion
