If the BIG12 thinks bringing in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Arizona St is going to help them why do people think it would not help the ACC to add teams like these to the conference?

Utah is the only team who has been relevant recently. It is like adding another Syracuse or Louisville

Syracuse and Louisville helped tremendously in basketball and almost had a playoff team in football before Louisville had a collapse. Got a Heisman winner though. Those teams would help the Big 12 with Deions attention and the Arizona team's basketball prominence.

I have been saying that for a year now, but would add TCU, Baylor, Kansas and Arizona.

I have also. But I would take Arizona St, Oklahoma St, Cincinnati, and one of TCU, Texas Tech, or Baylor. Whichever of the Texas school I could get.

I just want some good feedback. Everyone says the ACC expanding doesn't help because they aren't big schools but you see the BIG12 adding schools. I would like to see the ACC survive and stay in the ACC but we need to find a way to grow revenue. I think the only way is to expand the ACC footprint with some Midwest schools. ND is a pipe dream and you're not gonna pull a Penn St from the BIG10. So you have to look at what you can get that can help without going all the way into the west coast.

There will be three relevant conferences when the current round of realignment ends.
The SEC, Big Ten, and a huge third conference that is at a significant, but manageable, financial disadvantage to the first two.
I think the ACC will be irrelevant. It will be a grate basketball conference though.

I dont see how adding all of those middling teams help them. Every team you add splits the pie more so other than stability, I dont see it adding to their per-year/per-team numbers.
