Paul Finebaum just said that games like Clemson vs Wake will make you lose interest in college football...or maybe your life! What a moron! I guess the Miss St UT Martin or UGA Kentucky are much better? Give me a break. And this was after some ditsy SEC woman from Charlotte called in. Pathetic.

And what the reason for him saying this and what was the response from whoever he said it to?
It was a game between one of the best teams in the ACC vs. one of the worst.
I wish I could have five minutes on the air with Finebaum on national television.

He is a conferencialist. That means he has 14 favorite teams and they are all National Title Contenders ......every game and every season. So basically he is an 8 year old boy who can't decide on anything , except that anything he loves is the greatest thing to love forever and ever ...infinity.

Finebaum's schtick is that he's a paid troll. He's hired to say borderline controversial #### to pi$$ people off. Once you take that into account, it's kind of funny sometimes - just remember its supposed to be entertainment, not quite journalistic in quality. yea, he takes shots on us, but he takes shots on every other team at some point - that's what he does.
That being said, that game was horrible. Wake is awful and Syracuse is awful. We're finding ways to win these games, and that's worth something I guess - but seriously, we're only a week away from a loss in GT unless we correct some serious mistakes - and quickly. Luckily we have a long week to prepare and get Watson back to speed, and I do think we'll get things straight in time... But I can't say he's totally incorrect in what he said - especially if his nurse put him to bed early and he didn't see any of the second half.

the officials primarily the bogus call on robert smith that has been the chief complain of people who say they're losing interest or are done with college football. It sounds to me that's what he was insinuating as he's been pretty vocal about that rule as alabama has had a good bit of trouble with that (most times rightfully so) he's also been really big on the "let the players play, it's football" argument which would be the one and only thing I agree with him on. If I were a betting man id bet he meant it in that way because no one wants to watch a game where the referees take over the football game especially to such an extreme degree.
