An unfair question asked...What's yours?

Married or not, we march through life and are confronted with questions that, frankly, aren't fair to have thrust upon us. Whether spouse, kids, whomever, you cringe when hit with the question. Here's mine:
"Can I ask you something without you getting angry?" 
(No words exist for publication that express the dread I feel from that question!)

I immediately wonder what I am about to be asked. Followed immediately by, "Wait...have you been lying to me?
And, this one from every female I know, "How does (this dress, this outfit, my hair, these shoes, that girl, etc.) look?"

me if I wanted to take an IQ test after finding out that was part of my job. After asking 3 very simple questions, she said the last question decided how smart or dumb I was - the question was “ What was the 1st question” she asked me. When I said “ you asked me if I wanted to take an IQ test “ , she stomped her foot and stormed out.
