for chronic heartburn? It's like every night. I go through a big bottle of tums per week. Is there anything out there that works well that isn't like 50 dollars a bottle? Thanks.

ranitidine - 150 mg. buy in bulk at CVS or other pharmacy. Take as needed.

Pickle juice (salty vinegar water) works well for me.

It may not work in your case, since mine is not every night; but shoot about 2 or 3 ounces 30 minutes before you lay down for the night. Sometimes the Tums just makes your body produce more acid to counteract it.

It's fairly cheap too. ;)

as needed zantac (ranitidine) is a good place to start. it works more quickly so it can be taken as needed. the other meds like generic prilosec (omeprazole) are a little stronger but must be taken daily to work.

When a boy starts to grow up he gets fur in the strangest places. His body changes and he becomes a man...old as chit and can't handle his liquor or wimmin. He finds himself unable to process fast food because of the high fat content so he gives up Mcdonalds and pork chops...dead as a door nail.
