Even though my daughter didn't buy me tickets to the game in Atlanta (I bought them myself) I still am blessed, and I'd bet you are too, but what a wonderful gift to give you. Sounds like a great girl!

Outstanding! She must have a good "Mama and Daddy" as Bear Bryant used to say.

your family, I'm sorry to read of your problems with your job. I've been in one profession for most of my life, and that's because I have truly enjoyed the work. Even after retirement several years ago, I have enjoyed being asked to lead certain efforts again in my profession. Obviously, a great many people have responsibilities that preclude changes, and I understand that. Yet, it may be worth moments of reflection, when available, to ask yourself: what can I do relating to work that would provide me with greater positivity? Sometimes, I've found over the years that my activities away from work greatly influenced my appreciation and love for my work. Some people find that being audacious in seeking another line of work provides an answer. Nevertheless, I remain thankful that through all the successes and failures I've experienced that I was led to a profession in which I could utilize my talents in service to others, and I have worked diligently for many years to seek out the "good" in my profession, while discarding the "bad." I truly hope you will be able to do the same, and I extend my best wishes.

My way of dealing with it is a retirement countdown.
