There's a great old classic
Nov 24, 2022, 10:25 AM
|
|
with John Wayne and two other western ruffians who take care of a pregnant woman, she dies, the baby lives, and they take care of the baby until they can get it in good hands. Obvious Christmas / Christ / everyman theme running through, actually a very touching film with three different types / ethnicities of tough guys who all have to gel together and protect the baby. But I forgot the title.

It's nothing short of a Christmas miracle as Willie finds...
Nov 25, 2022, 9:27 AM

his way and his heart through the unconditional love of Mrs. Santa's sister and that of a lost, lonely child in desperate need of both father & friend.
Willie's is a reclamation story.
How many bullets would you take to get Thurman Merman his Pink Elephant?
Willie took eight.
If you had a dry eye when Thurman gave Willie his present, the wooden pickle, then you're a cold, callous and cruel, heartless machine of a man.

Best Thanksgiving movie; Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Steve Martin and the great John Candy. There are a lot of favorite Christmas movies. A Christmas Story being my favorite before TBS started wearing it out.

For the older crowd, The Homecoming. It was the pilot show for the Waltons. Early 70’s if I remember correctly.
