So, a story from an airport encounter this past Friday.

I was wearing a Clemson shirt travelling from Munich to Greenville via Chicago.
While in O'Hara Airport, a man came up to me, "You must be a Tiger fan."
"Well, duh!" was my thought, but I said, "Yes, I am."
He proceeded to tell me his wife went to "The". I asked him to repeat since I really couldn't make out what he said. He repeated, "The".
Thinking he said, "V", I asked if it was "Virginia".
He said, "No. The. The Ohio State.".
I had no response except, "Oh."
I was then being summoned by one member of the group I was travelling with. As I walked away, he said he was headed home to Myrtle Beach.
Again, "Well, duh" entered my mind. I simply said, "Safe travels."
