I’m talking long shots. That was in the red zone. We threw to the deepest route on that one but not a bomb by any means

Was like Ngata had on body armor.
DJ has been erratic for sure but our receivers have let him down a LOT!

throw 40-50 yard “50-50” balls when he can’t consistently hit the 30-40 yard throws??? Seriously, do you watch the games???? DJU is utterly unreliable in the passing game. He is just as likely to throw it 5 yards over the receivers head as he is to hit them in the numbers. He overthrew several WIDE OPEN receivers last night.
This guy has no confidence, and evidently ain’t no one with the title of “coach” helping him to get better. It must be even worse with Taisun.

We took multiple deep shots tonight… and “if they were grenades, no one would have died”
I’m convinced some of you don’t actually watch the games.

He did. Overshot deep receivers almost every time with uncatchable balls. Gonna have to call timing routes and have him practice throwing to various yard markers rather than making judgement calls about open fly routes, which is sad.

I don’t think they have any confidence in his touch. On that one deep play that we got holding called, DJ overthrew Ngata by 10 yards.

The receivers aren't getting much separation either to be fair. Even on most of the slants ran tonight it looked like our wideouts were giving free piggyback rides.

Lot's wrong with the passing game. DJ is not accurate. He does not have much touch. The wide receivers aren't getting much separation although they were getting held a lot last night and surprisingly the receivers have been dropping balls also.
DJ has a cannon, but at this point that doesn't mean much if he doesn't throw a catchable ball and when he does the receivers drop it.
I honestly think much of the problem is mental and chemistry which may be tougher to work out than technical problems.
No need to throw bombs if you can't consistently hit shorter throws and catch them.
