That’s freaking hilarious. You beat three decent teams without their starting quarterbacks, and Clemson by one point when we’ve had our worst quarterback in a decade, and you’re a hero. That has to be the dumbest school in America

Hilarious. Hooker played all but 6 min of our game. You know, they guy that should’ve won Heisman if he didn’t get hurt?
Your starting QB played. His name was DJ. He had 3,000 yards and 29 TDS this year.
But go ahead and keep your head in the sand and ignore what’s happening.

And don’t you forget your fan base wanted to fire Beamer during the season and now you think you’re Super Bowl champs. Do you need to be reminded of Mouth Carolinas football history??

Not accurate. Nut jobs and idiots wanted him fired. We ain’t there yet. Nobody is claiming we’re a national power…yet.
IDGAF about our history.

What's happening is the Gamecocks just extended a coach based on emotion. They have repeated this several times in the past. It ends in a buyout. So our heads aren't in tbe sand. We are are shaking them and smiling. Silly Coots Winning is for Tigers!!!???

Looking at it objectively, you have to admit that Spanky

Mayo has done a decent job his first two years. And, Cooterville has a lot of SEC dollars to throw around. Year Three will determine if they really have more than a flush in the pan.

Yea just not understanding having decent starters entering the portal. Not one but 3-4. Seems odd, but I maybe reading to much in to it.

I’d be more concerned if they were guys Beamer brought in. He’s still building the foundation. For example, he’s not upset about Bell leaving at all.

Also didn’t beat anybody with a pulse. UT was garbage, and Ark like a 2 win team. #### sure didn’t beat 2 top 7 teams, and got boat raced by clemmy.

8 wins is huge in Columbia. High expectations are reserved for Women’s basketball.

To be fair he was only making 2.75 million.

Lowest in the conference (except maybe Vandy). Sure, now he’s making 6.5 but that’s still the middle of the conference so to me the raise actually makes sense.

Exactly. He was appropriately paid based on his experience. Like it or not, he’s vastly surpassed expectations in each of his first 2 years. He beat some coaches that are still making a few milly more than him even after the raise.
