A buddy of mine is a retired colonel and West Point alum. We watched that game together tonight. I can't tell you when I've had that much fun watching a team win a game. Well, honestly, it would be our win vs. Bama in Tampa. But, so far this bowl season, that was the best game. Going for 2 instead of the sure thing in OT? BIG CLANKING BRASS BALLS.

You not kidding. Best bowl game other than ours. Both my son in laws are career military- marines so we’re even more so military supporters... so I can only imagine how much fun you had with your bud. I won’t lie, I shed a tear when they won. So proud.
Army-Navy game was great too. Was glad to see Army finally get the commanders trophy.

I loved that game and pull for any academy team against scuzzy civilian schools (except us of course). The most amazing stat is that Army had more first downs than SDS had plays.

That’ll be a trivia question one day. May be the only time it’s happened in modern football. Especially when you only win by 7.

If you ever get a chance to go to a West Point game - it’s worth it...
No it’s not Daath Valley...
But there’s a cool vibe and sense of history in the Hudson Valley...

I was pulling for them, they played with discipline and San Diego state was acting like snowflakes with uncalled for cheap shots. I can’t remember cheering on a team that isn’t named Clemson like that before.. Great game!
