At the start of the year most all CU fans would GLADLY have taken a 23-10 overall and 15-7 ACC record. The hate BB crowd just will not admit this was a great year. If the NCAA does not put us in and put ANY ACC teams in other than Miami, Va. and Duke then they are the idiots not BB. Quad crap is just a BS for getting " who they want" in -namely the bluebloods. It might be the rules but if that is the case the rules are total BS.

And to add to that I have no problems if it was like it was 40 years ago when only 16 teams got in. If you are picking 68 however and we don't get in that's total crap.

They decided that they don’t want Brad to be our coach, and look for any reason to criticize and undermine him. They dress it up as “just wanting what’s best for the program,” but it’s clear that they have no desire to see him be successful as our coach.

You lack self awareness. Everything you just wrote could be reversed and describe you perfectly. Your agenda is to prop up Brownell. You decided long ago you wanted to keep Brownell as our coach and make every excuse to “explain” away his shortcomings. You gaslight anyone who will listen that he has done a better job than his results demonstrate. You dress it up as “just wanting what’s best for the program”, but clearly you want what’s best for Brownell, not Clemson. I suspect you have a personal relationship with Brownell that drives your devotion.

True. All of our genius experts predicted terrible finishes for our program. Instead of admitting that they were very wrong and enjoy the season, they adjust their expectations shamelessly, and continue to complain.

Losing to THAT South Carolina team is unacceptable. Brownell should be fired for that alone.

It's surprising how the Brownell Fans are always wanting to kick sand on the majority of the Fans that are just tired of his mediocre coaching and recruiting. I will admit this is the best season that he's had out of 13 of them, and One out of Thirteen season brings nothing to the program when it's believed by most that the ACC is really down in the sport of basketball.
I was a Brownell fan that defended him for a solid 11 years but, I've let that dream that he was the best choice for Clemson go, and IMO, I believe he needs to be shown the door the minute the team uniforms has been put away until next season, and yes, I feel that should be the case if he makes the NCAA tournament or not. One out of 13 season says nothing him being the right Basketball coach for Clemson.
If you remember when Dabo was hired as HC in 2009, the majority of our fan base wanted to see him fired even with him doing well in recruiting, and with only one really bad season that was 2010. Then from 2011 to now it's been a bed of roses with all he has done for our FB program and winning every season since, and the link below shows the score/Win/Lose of every game since Dabo has been our HC...
With Brownell there hasn't been a rose, not even a smell from the pesky dandelion. This is where I'm at with Brad Brownell and his 13 years as Clemson's Head Basketball Coach, it's past time he's gone, and for Clemson to start over again with somebody new, and our athletic director should never give another HC 13 years that doesn't get a Clemson sport in the top 5 of our conference in his/her first 6-7 years bc, 13 years shouldn't ever be, that is my opinion....
