looking for a good formula...
Mar 18, 2013, 3:47 PM
|

to evaluate the points per post ratio verified against the inverse of the Tigerpulse continuum, prorated to take into account the 2013 calendar year using the new standard for daylight savings time.
Anybody have a good one?
Take your time...I'm not that interested in it.

I think you will find your answer by typing 58008 into a calculator and turning it upside down.

You are trying hard. Still doesn't explain it or make it go away, but hopefully it opens your eyes to the sheer absurdity of it.

Yep you are really bad at math.
Lets say your numbers are right... I need 11 points a day to get your amazing numbers...
A quick search shows that i have averaged over 20 posts a day for the last 30 days.
I need .5 Points per post.

it is basic math even for you....
11.2 points per day. Which no one has anyway to verify but I will go with it.
11.2 x 30= 336.
A quick search of my posts in the last 30 days gives 573 results. Not counted in that are the numerous deletions due to me attacking Gamecocks. Also that is lower than normal due to a 1 week vacation in that stretch.
So I get a .586 Points per every Post...
Meanwhile your average is higher than that...
I think you have SCOKS!!!!! OMG OMG OMG look how high his average is!!!
Who cares jesus.

I never once stated anything about a points per post ratio. You're confused.
I stated that you gained 11.22 points per day over a certain period of time, but those points aren't attached to the posts you made over that same period.
I honestly don't know how to explain it any clearer, but than again I shouldn't have to since you know exactly what I'm talking about.
It's a BIZARRE behavior clemmy. Please try harder.

"The guy has had a ton more points than posts over the last ~35 days." That is a direct quote from earlier by you.
I just showed that is in fact bull #### and now you are claiming post count doesn't matter.
Which is it pal?
You are just digging your pathetic little hole deeper with your obsession with me.

My bad. That was an error on my part - you don't have more points than posts. However, my poor little friend, you do have this:
I stated that you gained 11.22 points per day over a certain period of time, but those points aren't attached to the posts you made over that same period.
You got me curious about another thing now Dodgie, how Does one dig a "whole"? Might want to edit that yet again.

Ok.. You'll have to follow this one carefully..
Mar 18, 2013, 4:32 PM
|
|
A= the number of posts in a given day W= the number of days in the time period S= Daylight saving time C= is for the calendar. R= the coefficient of points per post H= total points O= points received when no new posts are present E= Modifiers for user bias
So we take the formula like this:
(W+H*O)/C-(A+R)+E(S)=?

Aaactually, the formula is much easier than that.

I'm sure you can follow along. Only those who took junior high math should continue.
A = points at date 1. B = points at date 2. C = A-B
And,
D = date 1 - date 2 (in days)
When C is far greater than the number of points gained in posts from the time period, D, then there are some bizarre shenanigans involved.
I'm not a teacher, but I do enjoy helping others. Let me know if something is not clear. Have a good one.
