Key to beating FSU

After struggling to BC there is no doubt FSU is beatable.

1. This game might be a game the QB run should be used heavily in. Cade may have to get us some first downs with his legs.

2. Defense needs to pressure the QB. And force turnovers.

3. Brown,Williams, Collins need to play well catch what’s catchable. Hopefully we continue to get good production out of Briningstool too.

4. Running backs and offensive line. Got to get some of these running lanes open. We’ve got quite a stable of running backs but the OL needs to open up holes.

5. Is obvious win the turnover margin. Play a clean game protect the football.

Bottom line: win the turnover margin and I think we beat FSU. Am I the only one not impressed with FSU?

Their QB is the key to their offensive success. If we can pressure him and (contain) him we can win. He is a 5th or 6th year guy that will not be intimidated by our crowd. Goodwin does not send the house like BV did and although we seem to have better defensive on the back end we are not getting to the QB. With the way refs allow teams to hold these days this might be the best strategy.

Score more points. It is the only proven commodity that works. Don't care what the stats are, or who even Lee Corso picks, it comes down to scoring more points. Win that stat and you control your own destiny, lose it and start using your phone app to score more points for free pizza when we sit down to watch the Papa John Toilet Bowl.
