Apparently the pollsters will continue to seek-out new and creative ways to make excuses for Bama and to keep them in the top four.

Bama needed a miracle and four OT's to beat a team that lost to uof7c.

the way Auburn gave (not the real word) that away was ridiculous. They must have a team urologist that helps them with that.

I posted this very thing last night. I'll double down and say they'll even be moved up half a point to 2.5 in the rankings. I'm sick of this "found a way to win." Against a wet paper bag, I would hope so!

1. Georgia
2. Cincy
2.5 Alabama
3..... and so on.

and not narrowly eeking-out wins against bad teams. If that's the case, and their logic applies equally to everyone (we all know it doesn't) Bama should drop at least three spots in the polls for needing four OT's to beat a bad .500 Auburn team.

That’s only an ESPN ranking, but we’ll see how it all shakes out with the Coaches Poll and the AP poll in about an hour and a half, and the Playoff rankings on Tuesday night.

They are doing it to keep the ratings high for the SEC championship and help Georgia in the off chance Bama beats them
