First, a steak can be done and not be a piece of charcoal when taken off the grill. I can eat a steak that is medium but that doesn't mean I enjoy it. For those that cook, please learn how to do it right as ordered.
Second, A steak can be seared and still be medium rare. And BOTH steaks look exactly the same until you cut them for a "look-see".
