UGH. I remember Orangeburg built a nice wetlands boardwalk in Edisto Gardens

in the late 80's. Shortly after that, we had a ONE THOUSAND YEAR RAIN that submerged the whole thing, along with the fountain lights in the Gardens. It was extremely weird driving home from work that night, and seeing those lights still burning, about TWO FEET UNDERWATER!

The lower part of that boardwalk got condemned due to rot before it ever got a chance to be used, due to being submerged for several days until the waters receded.

I also remember getting attacked by chiggers out at the plant, while draining a #### that had filled with water and submerged a whole tank farm of electrical pumps. It were not a fun time at ye olde chemical facility.

Interesting. Hard to tell where around the mtn they'd do it. I see two streams around mtn and few old ponds.
