Austin Bryant's interception vs VT was pretty awesome

But if he hadn't fallen down, it would have been like the GOAT of interceptions, at least at Clemson, especially if it had turned into a pick six.

I'd still say it's top 5 or 7

Along with: - Charlie Bauman's int. vs Ohio State in '78 - Willie Underwood's pick six vs the coots in '80 - Adrian Baker's int. to keep FSU from scoring 2nd TD in 2015 - Bashaud Breeland's momentum changing int vs Maryland in 2011. - Stephone Anthony's late int in OB win over OSU in 2014 - BJ Goodson & Ben Boulware intercepting Mayfield in the CFP semis in 2015.

Plus Deandre McDaniel picking off Ponder in 2009 and Ryan Carter picking off Jake the snake last year in Columbia.

That was one fun game... just to get crushed dreams up in durham that year by spurrier - still smdh at how we lost that game when we intercepted him like 5 or 6 times. Really thought that was our next national championship team going into the year.

With believing that we will have one of the best defenses for the 2018 season, who do you guys think or believe will end the 2018 season with the top #1 ranked defense in the country? Serious question!!!

This defense has the potential to be one of the best if not the best defense in CFb ever if the secondary plays up to par with the rest of the defense! IMO this is the best defensive line cfb has ever seen. I like how since venerables took over the defense has been so well coached and disciplined. It’s increasingly gotten better every year. A good example would be how the defense now covers the triple option GT runs when it use to give us fits. Just watching this film you can see not only sheer talent but if you pay attention you can see the play recognition and discipline. Like Austin Bryant recognizing the screen from VT the first time they ran it and almost intercepting it. Then the next time making the one handed interception against a similar screen play. All in all it’s a great time to be a Tiger and us as fans should savor the moment and appreciate we are blessed with such a great coaching staff.

Depends on the secondary

We have the best d-line in the country and possibly the second best backing them up.
However, our secondary is young and thin. Dorian O'Daniel left some big shoes to fill.
IF a team can protect the QB and he's got the arm to hurt us, it could be a tough night. I'm a bit uneasy about NC State and Syracuse. Fortunately, both are at home.

Still trying to figure out how Auburn improved enough to knock off Bama after being owned by Power Rangers - that early Auburn game was enough to provide a year's worth of tape.
