I thought the same thing so I dug up a photo taken during a Cardinals game and noticed the one end zone only has the first section of seats where in the Natty game they went much deeper. Wouldn't be the first time portable stands were brought in for a big game. And, at what $500 per or thereabouts...heck, I would have too if I knew I could sell them.

That's seated capacity. Standing room bumps the cap up 78,000. See. Here. Now;

They added seats in both end zones (upper level). Current publications reflect this change. Official capacity is now listed at 74,000

That's what was announced but there were only 63,000+ tickets scanned (I was told this by someone involved with the security planning who was provided the numbers in the EOC during the game)
